We are currently recruiting a

System Administrator (m/f) Working Student 20h/week

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You own the account management of various tools
  • You manage the Installation, configuration, monitoring and upgrading of servers and workstations
  • You take care of troubleshooting network and server issues
  • You are responsible for data security, data recovery, data loss and server management
  • You deliver server / infrastructure solutions that meet URBANARA’s business requirements
  • You work with the IT team on various projects

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have some experience in working with Windows and Mac OS
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • Programming and/or scripting experience (Java, SQL) is a strong plus
  • You have some experience in server virtualization, attack management and prevention, load management, system backup, life cycle management and system monitoring
  • You have some years of experience in system administration (ideally in an e-commerce environment)
  • You have some knowledge of hardware and making repairs to damaged electronics if necessary
  • You have a good knowledge of networks and networks infrastructure
  • You have preferably a university degree or studying computer science
  • You show effective verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audience
  • You are highly organised with the ability to work independently
  • You are flexible, innovative and team-oriented
